A Tale of Two Tragedies
A Tale of Two Tragedies
I
City of the River
City of Gold
Has destiny foretold this,
Mighty City of Old?
City of Golden Friendships
Lofty fortress on a hill
Your enemies now surround you
On land you once owned
City of Sorrow
City of Pain
Your dreams have drowned
But you shall live again
II
Fortress of Defense of the Ancients
It’s not a game
Your mountains once protected you
But what’s in a name?
Majestic Waterfalls
Impregnable walls
These walls of beauty
Upon you they fall
Beneath the splendor
Beneath the fame
The lives they took
Will never be the same

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
Mark 4:35-41
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
1 Corinthians 13:12

Stop being angry!
Turn from your rage!
Do not lose your temper—
it only leads to harm.
